Barn complex is robbed of flames

Towards 1.At 30 o’clock, several residents of an agricultural property in kulmbacher strabe noticed flames coming from a barn complex. At the arrival of the first rescuers the building was already in full fire. In the T-shaped barn complex (30 x 15 meters resp. 20 x 10 meters) were stored hay and straw.

despite the efforts of the fire department, the fire also spread to two adjacent houses, which were slightly affected by the fire. However, the residents were all able to get to safety in time and remained unharmed. Animals were also not harmed.

B 289 totally closed

the fire-fighting and salvage operations lasted until the morning hours. Since the fire object is located directly on the local thoroughfare (= bundesstrabe 289), this was closed in both directions.
No information could yet be given on the cause of the fire. The bayreuth criminal investigation department took up the investigation during the night. Around 130 rescue workers from the fire department, technical rescue service, ambulance service and police were on the scene.
